an Ex-Victorian Police Highway Patrol car. I found this car also in a salvage yard in Redcliffe in 1998. It had a "T" code engine 351 4V and full GT running gear including FMX transmission, disc brakes all round, tramp rods, 9 inch diff and bracing between engine and gearbox. It had the police speedometer which went to 220km/h and was more finely calibrated then the standard or GS/GT speedo. It also had the full rubber floor mat in it instead of carpet.
I restored this car back to original in polar white and re applied the Police "candy car" livalry with all its sirens and lights. sadly, I sold the car in 2001 after completing it. |
